Hello and Welcome!
|
This Witchy Living site is the remnant of a shop and discussion forum that was started by me, Kim Cairelle Perilloux, in 2007. Despite its immense popularity and success, I made the decision to close the French Quarter retail location at 1219 Decatur Street, as well as the discussion forum, at the end of 2011 so that I could concentrate full time on coordinating the New Orleans Witches' Ball. I am sad to lose face-to-face contact with so many of you, but as with all things in life, times change, and I have moved into new adventures and opportunities!
While the shop is now history, the motto of 'Witchy Living' - to live life in the fullest and most magickal manner possible, every day, in every which way - remains unchanged. By acknowledging the wonder that surrounds us every day and using our gifts and blessings to work with that, we create an everyday magick that empowers us and enhances our lives. Because it has always been my goal to make that kind of magick accessible to everyone, I still do private consultations and I am hopeful that I can be of service to you in some manner in the future! |
Wait, what happened to Bitty Bobb?
|
Bitty Bobb the Witchihuahua retired from shop life when Witchy Living closed its doors in December 2011 and he is doing very well! He reigns as King of the House and spends his days in the sun, eating kibble and avoiding baths.
To occupy his time and to continue to be of service to the community-at-large, Bitty Bobb is also the Official Spokesdog for the (pending) 501c3 non-profit, Bitty Bobb's Bacon Krewe. Please be sure to visit him online at his website and on Facebook too! Bitty can also often be found walking about in the French Quarter, handing out "bacon" to his less fortunate canine friends, and spreading sweet tail wags and sunshine wherever he goes. If you see him, please feel free to stop and say hello. He always loves the attention! |
So, what's next?
During my years at Witchy Living, both online and in the Decatur Street shop, I met thousands of people and made so many friends! While I don't regret closing - it was what I needed and wanted to do at that time - I have also missed my shop so very much. Even though I am currently very involved with the New Orleans Witches' Ball and life in general, who knows what lies ahead? I'm not making any promises, but perhaps there will be a new shop venture in the years ahead...
I appreciate the friendship and support I've received over the years, and I thank you for stopping by my old site. If you'd like to stay in touch, please visit me on Facebook and give my page a "Like" to keep up on the latest!
May your life be filled with an abundance of blessings!
